Beginning of the End: The China Wholesale Exploits

Late last year I started getting into the internet marketing scene. I had heard about kelly felix and the "rich jerk" millions. I frequented the marketing forums. I joined CPA companies. I made around $70-80 in four months. I was pissed. I had allready spent 3 times that amount buying domains, paying for hosting and experimenting with various PPC campaigns. And I was beginning to beat myself up for being so naive, thinking I could just start churning out cash through perseverence and dedication. Ironically, in the end thats all it took. One faithfull afternoon looking through various message boards between checking if my CPA accounts had made any cents I found an thread which has since been deleted. It was this crazy guy making these claims that he was turning over 10-15 grand a month doing what he called "drop shipping". I owe that guy a lot--my best month this year has been over $7000 net profit. Basically he laid down his whole game plan. He would find a chinese wholesaler, for wholesale electronics, clothing etc and find a lucrative item they where listing (these are sites just like ebay or amazon etc.) i.e. a popular item with a big price gap between the chinese and western markets--then he would list that item on ebay or amazon for twice the amount, wait for a buyer to put money in his paypal account then buy the item from the chinese supplier, giving them the westerners shipping details.

e.g See intel i7 processor listed by chinese wholesaler for $30 USD. Advertise intel i7 processor on e-bay for $120. Buyer "bob" from e-bay pays you the $120. You pay the chinese wholesaler $30 and give him bobs shipping details instead of your own.

This is actually how I've been making my money up untill just recently, having found a more lucrative item to specialize in. However I still recommend processors as a good market to get into. As the price gap between the chinese and western markets are so high, and also because the demmand is damn high. I remember listing like 5-10 items on ebay a day and getting hits on them all within 24 hours. It was very exciting. However the key is finding the chinese wholesalers. Don't pay for lists. They are not worth it as the best chinese wholesalers operate through relatively well known sites and any lists people are selling will most likely be shady.
